Who are MCC Contractors?
MCC Contractors are a family owned civil contracting business based in Denmark Western Australia. MCC Contractors were recently ranked as the highest applicant in the Shire of Denmark preferred tender panel process by WALGA and are proud to offer services to residential home owners, businesses, forestry and rural clients, local governments and utilities.
The Director of MCC Contractors, Matt Candy has a proven track record in managing significant works projects across multiple locations and multiple customers across the Great Southern Region from Greenbushes to Bremer Bay.
These operations have been predominately large-scale earthworks and forestry operations within the scope of his work as Director of Down South Timber Company (DSTC), requiring complex negotiation and collaboration with multiple stakeholders and operators on multiple sites.
MCC Contractors is the natural evolution of DSTC, as the company was conducting increasing civil works operations and moving away from purely forestry-based work.

With this equipment allows MC Civil Contractors to be ready to deploy as required across multiple locations utilising an employed, contracted and sub-contracted workforce and has access to its consultant networks extensive equipment including heavy transport, specialist drainage and trenching machinery, turf laying and management machinery, traffic management equipment.

MCC Contractors are active community members that regularly reinvest in the local community for direct economic benefit. The Director is heavily involved in the local football club and encourages his employees to pursue community minded activities.
The Director of MC Civil Contractors currently sponsors the Denmark Walpole Football Club and has served in volunteer fire-brigades and acted as Deputy Chief Fire Officer for the Shire of Plantagenet. An addition to this, the Director has been involved in Indigenous Mentoring through football programs, is involved in Denmark Junior Basketball and previously with the Denmark Surf Lifesaving Club and is has been a member of the Denmark Golf Club and Denmark Fishing and Angling Club.
